This was created over the course of a week with a friend as a sort of impromptu game jam a few years back. I created all of the art assets besides a few unity particles. I also retooled the unity Character Controller into a 2D platforming system and built the camera and parallax logic. My friend Curtis Reed programmed the enemy behaviors.
The Familiar
It took me about a day to sculpt, model, and paint him, then another half-day to rig and make his animations.
I used nDo to add normals to the 2D enemies which made for a cool look.
