Hi Renee and Potions team

I’m not sure if you have found the right artist for your project yet, but I wanted to go ahead and let you know I was interested just in case that spot was still available. Let me briefly reintroduce myself, my name is Wesley and we have spoken briefly a few times on Twitter. (@WesleyEldridge) I’m a Seattle based game artist with a focus on 2D art and animation with a fair amount of Unity prototyping experience (mostly Unity Script). I’m really interested in finding the right project to collaborate on with a team and I think Potions might be a great fit for both of us. I get really excited about projects that feature female and queer protagonists!

To start, take a look at a thing I made for you. Let’s call it Potions fanart.

I really enjoyed painting this last night. It’s sort of a half concept painting / half screen mockup. I wanted to make you a piece of art to show you I’m serious. I’m not sure if you are looking for pixel art or a more painterly style, but I’m comfortable with both. I’m not strictly an environments guy, it is just one tool in my toolbox. I can also support your character artist with character / creature / UI / animation duties or help you with scripting simple behaviors and events, and do any other level / mechanic design tasks that might arise. I’m a bit of a game dev redmage.

Take a look at my portfolio and please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I’ll take any art test / skill test / Unity test you’d like to give me, I feel confident I have the skills to help bring Potions to life. If by chance you have already filled the role, then I wish you the best! Enjoy the Potions fanart I made for you and If you guys ever have some crunch / overflow work you need help with, drop me a line.

Cheers,

Wesley Eldridge
